Mystery Skyline #1

Posted by Rick (Toronto, Canada) on 12 August 2017 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

I was enjoying some fine weather on my balcony during the early stages of sunset, when my eye spied a curious extended "floating skyline" high above the buildings around Toronto's Yonge and Bloor streets. Knowing the shape and size of the two cities northwest of my angle of view, Brampton and Mississauga, I did not recognize these shadow shapes. This is something I have never seen before and probably never will again. The building shadows bore no resemblance to any of the structures to the northwest, and so I post a few photos to share this odd looking visual.

Beautiful sky and silhouettes of building in sunset backlight ! I do like the reflections of light on one of them !

Wow - this is spectacular and wonderful to find that mysteries still exist inside the concrete jungle.
