Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

Talk would be cheaper, but . . .

13 Oct 2017 5:22am

@Ronnie 2¢: ... but talk involves having to say the word "like" so many times; exhausting!

@Devi: Chiropractors love it !

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Great capture . They are there and somewhere else at the same time in another form of communication.

@Mhelene: Indeed. It seems that being where you are is no longer enough :-)

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

A sad commentary on today's communication and conversations. Well captured story here.

@Ruthiebear: Ubiquitous devices tend to demand a lot of attention in a world gone tech-mad.

Existence Artistique from Angers, France

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

OMG!! When I first saw your caption on my blogwatch, this is not what I was expecting! This is a hilarious (yet saddening) reality of these millennials.

13 Oct 2017 6:07pm

@Steven: I love the OMG, of course, because it neatly dovetails with today's "in too much of a hurry to bother with vowels" ethos. Thanks, Steven. I'm okay with technology, loving my cameras, computers, home recording studio, Blu-ray players et al, but fear for a future without cursive writing, good use of expressive language, and people who are so distracted it becomes dangerous and detrimental. Thanks for the comment!

Irene from San Francisco, United States

It's the same here.

14 Oct 2017 12:33am

@Irene: Ubiquity doesn't always rock!
