Toronto's annual Santa Claus parade is one of the biggest and longest running in the world, and usually attracts over half a million people to its November event. This is from the last one I attended, several years ago, and I was laughing (but with sympathy!) at these unhappy kids who were supposed to be smiling and waving at the crowd from their float... instead, they seemed glum and exhausted, wishing to be anywhere but there. I thought they must have started their day very very early to be this wiped out already, and the parade only at the halfway point of its long route. Anyway, a merry merry salute to all of you Am3ers who are celebrating Christmas today. Have a safe and happy one!
