Bitterly cold wind made my eyes water. I processed this with some glow to mimic the sensation of watery eyes staring into the forces of Winter.

Beautiful image - I like the textured layer of the forest between the frozen whites of snow and sky.

@Stephen: Thanks, Stephen. With so much farmland and open space, these kinds of weather conditions make for very pretty expanses.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

I love the fresh look of this shot with the undisturbed snow in the foreground. The snow also adds great textures to the evergreens. Great framing!

@Steven: We are having a very dynamic winter thus far, and as I type this we have rain. With Elora situated in the snow belt and directly influenced by lake Huron and Georgian Bay, not to mention lake Superior, we are almost guaranteed a fresh blanket of snow at any point in time. Thanks a lot, Steven.

Joyce from Montana, United States

Such simplicity is closer to Truth than our busy noisy Maya, and yet if the sunlight graces it, it becomes a pearlescent sea of living sparkling snowflakes, also Truth.

@Joyce: Thank you for your visits and poetic lucid commentary, Joyce.

Denny Jump from Bellevue, WA, United States

Ruthibear is SO right!! ...You did a masterful job of inducing a physical reaction (watery eyes, in this case) from an image and words!
I Love it ;-)
