The Heart Of Winter

Posted by
Rick (Toronto, Canada) on 1 February 2018 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

My wife and I find hearts everywhere. I have photographed heart-shaped clouds and lakes, and we have a collection of over 50 rocks found in many various locations. (it must be true love!) Here is a heart as viewed from a bridge in Pilkington Valley, just outside of Elora. As this is the first day of Cupid's month, I will run a series of heart pictures from my collection, with a final image date of... naturally... Valentine's Day.

I also collect all the small heart-shaped objects! Stones, wood, shells which I buy sometimes or that I find in the nature. But to find a photographic subject, it's more difficult ! You find a beautiful one ! Well framed Rick !

Thats the stuff sans very nice and accurate heart....that I am so fearful of falling on my....attitude is paranoid I quess. I taught myself how to fall on iceskates years ago by falling gracefully on purpose which gave me great confidence, but sigh, to skate on the pond at this age I would need a hocky goalee costume.
