MIDDLE - Tamara finds a great one in the lake Huron waves, Goderich
BOTTOM - 1. Some are too big to take home 2. One I found near a ruins, Elora 3. She doesn't look FOR them, but it seems the other way around... this one was in a stream at the foot of a waterfall on Vancouver Island

I'm amazed at the sheer quantity of your finds. Excellent. Myself I'm always looking for the perfectly round pebble. You wouldn't think it would be that hard given the way pebbles are formed, but no luck yet ...sigh

@grouser: Thanks very much, and now that you mention it... I've never seen one either. Perhaps now it will happen sooner rather than never ;)

Finding all those hearts reminds me of a song from when I was knee high to a grasshopper, "Love is all around"

@beach: That is a great reference. Thanks.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

I ,too, thought of that Troggs song as I have seen this wonderful series
"I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes.
Well love is all around me, and so the feeling grows.
It's written on the wind, it's everywhere I go.
So if you really love me, come on and let it show."

@Ruthiebear: A wonderful reference, and as a lifelong music collector and musician, I doubly appreciate it.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

What amazing heart-shaped finds!! I am impressed with the size of that heart-shaped stone that is half-exposed in the dirt. This makes me want to go out and explore for specific forms. :-)

7 Feb 2018 4:15pm

@Steven: As I started grabbing some of the images for these collages and this series, I realized anew just how many we have seen or found. I began finding FOOT-SHAPED stones a couple of summers ago... one from Vancouver Island and two from Ontario beaches. Funny how we begin to spot things once we get started. Thanks!

Joyce from Montana, United States

I love Tamara's blue check shirt. And, what you love and invest your positive energy in, is drawn to you. that's what I think Bro. Your lady is lovely too. I approve.

7 Feb 2018 6:09pm

@Joyce: She's a sweet soul and a wonderful strong talented lady and mom. I'm blessed to call her my wife. Thanks for approving, ha ha, and always for your comments.

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

Anna Cherer from LA ROCHELLE, France

A crazy collection ! I like particulary the photo with Tamara, so nice, who found a magnificent specimen andbbecause I know the pkace where it was taken.

7 Feb 2018 6:54pm

@Anna Cherer: I was sitting right near that swing set on the beach, the same one you photographed... and watched Tamara just stare off at the lake Huron horizon for a long moment and then suddenly see something near her and reach down to find a great heart rock. Magic and fun. Thanks very much, Anna.

Elaine Hancock from Olney, United States

This is just fabulous. Nature has a way of showing us love. This is a great series!

Next thing that enters my mind: Have I ticked him off (A) i am very paranoid)...(B) Was it something I said/ © No, it was probably me dropping the ball and not communicating with him.
