I Love Coffee

No, I didn't stage this. When I lifted up my mug, I noticed a little heart-shaped spill on the counter and just had to take its picture. It is the only time this has ever happened. (and not long after, my favourite coffee mug for years and years finally broke, so I am glad I preserved its memory in a loving moment)

Wonderful fortuitous image. I believe the universe eventually always gives us what we are looking for.

@Michael Skorulski: Thank you, and I like your viewpoint.

A funny and nice story ! What happened should not nothing at random !

@Anna Cherer: I try not to overthink these little magical occurrences, but they are very welcome in my life and I am grateful to have "eyes" to see them. Many thanks, Anna.

Now you mention it . . time for another cup !

@Ronnie 2¢: Always time for another cup, Ronnie !

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

another magic moment and a nice back story too :)

@grouser: The bevel in my departed mug kept the beverages nice and hot, plus it had a nice "mouth feel" for sipping. It was my "relax with a coffee and a newspaper" mug, but these days newspapers are falling by the wayside and one does not find much to relax about when reading them ;-)

@Ruthiebear: A heart-shaped coffee spill... maybe my favourite mug was saying farewell? Thanks a lot, Ruthie.

Elaine Hancock from Olney, United States

That is amazing! I am glad that you too a picture of it. Especially since your coffee mug broke. I hate what a favorite mug breaks. It is like losing a daily friend.

@Elaine Hancock: I know it's only a mug, but I miss it and haven't been able to replace it. Ahhh, the problems of some of us pampered North Americans, huh? Thanks for the comment and sympathy!

Hiro from Kyoto, Japan

Ah, we can find a heart everywhere !
