The Proud Pipers Of Kincardine

Posted by
Rick (Toronto, Canada) on 14 April 2018 in Documentary & Street.

This wonderful town on the shores of lake Huron features a summer-long weekend tradition whereupon their pipers march the main street in full regalia, sending chills up the spine with their united sound. My friend John is among them here but far back in the mix.

Oh, THIS is WONDERFUL...and the chill that you speak of is absolutely true! There is NOTHING that gets my senses singing with pride, than the sound of pipes and drums marching in....and I immediately get choked-up and tears form and flow...freely ;-) I LOVE this music and THANK YOU for this post...and thanks to your pal in the rear of the formation!!! Cheers Sir <3

@Denny Jump: A superb and appreciated comment from a fellow music fan; my sincere thanks, good sir.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

A fine capture of the pipers. I'm afraid the sound of bagpipes is one I've never learned to appreciate.

@Steve Rice: Ha ha... one of the most love-hate instruments on the planet, I am sure. I love the sound but in limited amounts. Thanks, Steve.
