Gérard from Allauch, France

After Brexit..... !!! No more sex appeal !!!

@Gérard: Ha ! In which case I would have titled this "Curve Appeal".

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

This cannot be after Brexit . . the sun is still shining !

@Ronnie 2¢: Double "Ha !"

Martine Libouton from Bousval, Belgium

Très bien vu ! La lumière est belle

@Martine Libouton: Merci !

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

Looks like a once delightful home. Odd choice of curtain material though :) Nicely captured in the hard light

@grouser: The owner probably considered it a major renovation, the day the place was attached to the electrical grid. This house was on a street filled with renovated properties, and I found its esthetic defiance quite charming. Cheers, mister g.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Don't get too close! I love the bright streaks of light that shine across the facade.

@Steven: The sun doesn't discriminate :-))

@Existence Artistique: Merci.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

I find this oddly appealing. The light, the textures and the point of view.

@Ruthiebear: I find certain types of natural decay to be intriguing... rust, collapse, the inevitable failure of human-constructed objects under the forces of Nature. Thanks, Ruthie.

Devi from Chennai, India

Bathed in pure light..
I love this and would certainly explore this "Once " a home !

18 Apr 2018 3:35pm

@Devi: It is downtown in a big city, surrounded by modern homes, and I love its decaying defiance and the wood on the porch for the wood stove. A throwback ! Thanks, Devi.

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

Excellent image Something sad...

18 Apr 2018 4:10pm

@Adela Fonts: It elicits a variety of emotions, which I like. Thanks a lot, Adela.

Franz from Baden, Austria

Definitely an unexpected and surprising find in the middle of the city! I like the 'aesthetic defiance' that you mention here, too. Truly a house with personality!
(I love Ronnie's comment re the Brexit!!!)

18 Apr 2018 5:59pm

@Franz: My thanks, good fellow, and I tip my hat to you for taking the time to read comments as well. Pure class.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

It needs just a little work.

18 Apr 2018 9:30pm

@Steve Rice: Yep. Rent a bulldozer and let the reno begin !

Harry from Apex, NC, United States

I like the detail in the brick where the sun shines on it. The torn screen and the Union Jack curtain are interesting details
