Noe's Arch wich save the city....
Very well framed !!!

@Gérard Flayol: Victoria B.C. is in a tsunami zone, and so hopefully this playful image doesn't portend anything. Thanks !

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

The point-of-view really makes this . . like they are taking the town with them on M.V. Coho !

12 May 2018 7:02am

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks, Ronnie. I had to be quick as I saw this Seattle-Victoria ferry passing by a building on the opposite side of Victoria's inner harbour. Mostly I liked how the woman was hanging her arms over the side.

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

That's the strangest salmon I have ever seen :) an intriguing and somewhat surreal image

@grouser: I prefer fresh caught Alaskan halibut, in a beer batter with chips... yes sir, and your closing summation is how I feel about your own surrealist image for today :)

Jaya from Trieste, Italy

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

This point of view rally shows off the enormity of COHO. I get an almost eerie feel viewing this.

12 May 2018 2:05pm

@Ruthiebear: Surrealism can do that to a person sometimes... thanks, Ruthie.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

Wow, such an inspired composition. It yields a dramatic image especially in the lovely B&W.

12 May 2018 3:48pm

@Steve Rice: Thanks, Steve. I appreciate the feedback.

Franz from Baden, Austria

The funniest superstructures ever! So well seen and captured. If I didn't know better, I'd say they look like the houses around Victoria harbour ... ;-)))

12 May 2018 4:52pm

@Franz: There's no fooling you, Franz :)

Existence Artistique from Angers, France

@Eye for Beauty: Thank you.

Stephen from Canberra, Australia

Fascinating point of view. I like how the background sails by with the figures on the deck attracted by something else.
