@AMIR BABA: Thanks a lot.

Denny Jump from Bellevue, WA, United States

Man, there is a Hub Bub of activity down there. I don’t know what thére digging but John Candy’s Line from "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" certainly fits: "Dig it, Mahn, Irie Mahn!"

16 May 2018 5:43am

@Denny Jump: This was taken from a train as we passed through Brampton, which is beside Toronto and like its neighbour to the south, Mississauga, nothing but endless sprawl and "growth". I dig the John Candy reference, man !

Stephen from Canberra, Australia

Oh looks like a tilt-shift effect? I can dig the chaos of these 'toys' in the ultimate sand pit.

16 May 2018 5:49am

@Stephen: Quasi tilt-shift. My Canon Powershot has quite a few built-in effects that I rarely use, but the train window was dirty and I went for it. Cheers !

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

Well, I hope they finish what they've started !

@Ronnie 2¢: One massive nondescript subdivision, coming right up !

@Martine Libouton: Merci beaucoup.

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

Whatever they are taking out of there I hope they are putting the landscape back afterwards :0

16 May 2018 9:18am

@grouser: Your basic North American cookie cutter shoddily built subdivision dwellings with sod and saplings... fairly predictable but hey, there's always a strip mall handy !

Hiro from Kyoto, Japan

Great result !!

@Hiro: Thanks, Hiro.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Great use of tilt-shift which miniaturizes this view!! I love this enveloping view.
