Lovely big landscape shot. Are those little stooks of hay in the fields by the buildings?

25 Oct 2018 10:19am

@grouser: Thanks, mister g. Those are little coniferous trees, likely headed to a Christmas oriented destination.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

A beautiful aerial view framed by the evergreen trees!! I love the ruralness for as far as the eyes can see.

Now I look at them rather more carefully I can see that. Something rather sad about growing trees to die slowly in central heated living rooms.

@grouser: I am in full agreement !

Shaun from Massachusetts, United States

Excellent image superb contrast. Sad to look at coniferous trees growing just to be cut down after a short spell over Christmas, then just discarded. I never buy one. 5*

@Shaun: Thanks for the stars and more importantly, for not participating in the wanton waste of a living thing just for the sake of a few days of holiday celebration.

Elaine Hancock from Olney, United States

A beautiful view. You can see so far from this point! I like how the tree frames the landscape.
