Cormorant Condo

The backlight was harsh and I wished for a cleaner result, but I had hundreds of cormorants above me and didn't want to linger beneath their poopy potential. This is from a bird sanctuary on Toronto's Leslie Spit that is open to the general public for a scant few weeks. Being in that area with the big skyline just across the lake is quite surreal... and smelly.
