Old town Kitchener

Kitchener Ontario is a small city of 255,000 and part of the tri-city region of Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge (population close to 600.000). There are some fine old buildings downtown.

@grouser: It seems the smaller cities in this part of the world have been spared that boomtown wrecking ball mentality.

Hi Rick! I like the nostalgic feeling, and that quirky little scene with the car parked on the curb... makes me smile. A beer too many perhaps at the pub. Our town looks just like this one and is cherished. But we don't have those classy brick sidewalks, and there is a mountain range showing about at the llevel of the 40 mph sign that sorta hugs us. And we can't go that fast, we'd miss something.
